I would like to mention my recent work creating an Access database for a warehouse, where one of the tasks that I had was to transfer data from an Excel spreadsheet into the database. I was able to do this so that the old information in Excel matched exactly the information that went over to the database. It was that much more tricky in that there was data already in the Access database, and the Excel spreadsheet data had to be slotted in around that data, and I had to plan how to do this.
